My girlfriend's dad I found out has a Band new unused (Purchased 2007) KAC-X40 4ch amp and I was thinking about buying it off of him. What do yall think. Its for my 4 speakers.

Haha don't buy it. I can find you an amp that'll put out more power than that for under $200.

 

Can you talk him down any? It's gotten good reviews, but it's discontinued.

If I was in the market, I'd pay 125.

 

He said I pay that or He is putting it in his f150. I will see if I cant talk him down a little but I doubt he will budge.

This is the way I would recommend you go.. $100 less, much more power, cleaner output, well built oldschool amp. very respected seller. Almost impossible to find a better amp for the price or even $100 more. Just my opinion.
