CD6 - Load / UnLoad Error.

I am not sure if this should go in the Audio or the Electrical Forum so move it if you need to.

I have a Pioneer CD6 from an 01 or 02 Explorer Sport and it will not load or unload CDs.

I have unplugged the power and hooked it back up a few times hoping for something to work but no dice.

The radio works but when I press the Load Button I get a message that all slots are full.
I tried to Eject but get a message, "CD Error”.

Opened up the front of the radio and there is nothing in the CD Slots.

I am wide open for suggestions and I have someone that wants the radio but wants the CD section work, can’t blame them.

Anyone have any ideas or is this something simple I do not know about.

Thanks for any and all help.

Here is a pic of the Head Unit:

Strange.
Nothing jammed anywhere between the slots or anything?

I literally have to punch my stock head unit in order for it to eject a cd.

I had a similar issue with mine. I took the rear box of it apart and turns out the sorting tray came undone from shipping. I was able to snap it back in and it worked perfect after that

Same thing happened to me, I did everything I could short of tearing it apart. I've read the CD6 have a history of the changer giving out.

I just bought a new radio instead
