fuse on the amp or fuse up front by the battery

if its 4ga wire, get 80-100a fuse, what ever kind of fuse it was before, im going to guess maxi fuse or ANL

the fuse up front by the battery fuses the power wire from shorting, has nothing to do with how many amps you amp pulls

thanks for checkin michael. i realized how lame of a question this was when i simply went to radioshack and asked for a fuse, then he gave me one haha. easy as pie. they didn't have a 40A fuses so i got a 30A fuse. should be fine right? just means it'll blow with less current going through it?

I usually replace mine with what was originally in it. By going lower, you won't be able to get that same bang, that is if its cranked.
