Where do i run this wire?

I have an 03 ranger edge ext. cab. Where can i run the 2 gauge power wire for my amp? The only place i can see is through the fender. I would like to run it inside the truck but i cant drill on the truck.

I went down in the engine bay, under the truck, and drilled a 3/8" hole in the floor. I'm sure there are other ways, but it is tough w/ that thick guage wire. I was gonna go through my firewall, because there is a rubber booting which the wire could go through, but i couldn't find anyway to run it to the back of my cab under the vinyl flooring.

run it throug the rubber piece in the firewall....

Behind the kickpannel......under the door trim....across under the carpet to under the seat, and then out one of the cuts in the carpet under the seat....

Dont drill holes, all you have to do is poke a hole in the rubber piece and run it through

Think you could fit 1/0 wire through that same way?

i agree, dont cut until u kno u have to. in ur case u dont. there is a rubberized hole(iono) in the firewall which u can cut bigger to allow access with a razor blade. then push through with a screwdriver with tape and zip ties around the wire. 1/0 wiring would be a chore to get through. in ur case just cut. u could try but it would be hard.

Would it fit under the rocker panels? I'm trying to decide if I should try to run it through the firewall or if I should run it up underneath the truck and through the floor.

the 1/0 wire would be tight in the rocker panels. im not the interior name specialist but i think u mean the trim all along the inside. we did that with 6 guage on NadawgBMX's truck (he is new to the site) and it was tight. Umm... there r clips under there that u can break off to fit larger wires. it would still be tight lol. Dremel Tool?

i ran my 1/0 thru the firewall (drilled a new hole), then right down the center next to the bump under the vinal floor.. you'd never know it's there. then it just pops out in the back right under my amp rack
