new speakers

HEY EVERYONE,

Got me some new speakers in the mail today. Here's a quick overview of my setup.

JL audio 12" w2 ported/vented box (huge box)
JL audio amplifier, not sure the type off top of my head (really good amp tho)

So 3 years ago i went to a place near me (now shutdown) called tweeter, (i think it was international) anyways it was an awesome speaker audio place. I got the above mentioned (amp/sub) and 4 JL audio speakers with tweeters built in. Again this was 3 years ago and i paid $120 for 2 pair, i had 4 total. My setup sounded AMAZING, for about 1 year. Then after blasting music, messing around with amp setting. All 4 speakers ended up giving out :(.. I then have been using my stock speakers with amp/sub and they sounded good but have now blowen.

So i now have bought these http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-JBL-GTO8627-...item2a023749b3 They are NEW JBL GTO8627 5X7" 6X8" CAR STEREO 2 WAY SPEAKER 360W
I only bought 2 of them because i think having speakers in the back is useless. Im so suprised for 55 bucks shipping, brand new speakers sound amazing. Anyone have these or any sorts of JBL speakers?

i have the pioneers posted above. not great, but a huge improvement over stock.

lol i only run the two fron speakers (not by choice) lol last time i had the headunit out i must have no connected something so the backs dont work. but either way im too lazy to take it back out and reconnect them. 2 speakers sound just fine in these trucks since the cabs are so small

exactly, i used to have 4 speakers 2 front, 2 back. They were both jl audio speakers, But i read somewhere since our cabs are so small the speakers cancel eachother out.

I can fully hear the rear speakers working with the front speakers, if I push the fader all the way front there is a HUGE deficiency of sound. if I put something in front of the rear speakers to block as much sound as I can its the same thing.
