Wiring harness

this is for people who got their harness from wal-mart. what was the model number of the harness to connect an aftermarket HU to the stock wiring? i picked up one CHEAP ($2.00) last yr. i wasnt sure if it was the right one but for $2 who cares...

if you have the original packaging then it should tell you wut its for. but im guessin since you posted this that you dont. i just hardwired my aftermarket head unit in so its not comin out of the truck anytime soon. but i think the audio is clearer this way, less resistance.

no hardwiring isnt the best way but ok. i have the package but its up to 2002. the copyright date on the package says 2002 so thats why i am asking...

Just unplug your stereo and check it. Two bolts right above the A/C controls and the whole bezel is free.

why dude...mnemonic just helped you out. do you really need a model number if the harness you have fits and the ones at wal-mart are clearly labeled.
