Well, after finally getting around to carpeting the box last weekend I finally took some finished pics. 1 10" inch Fi SSD. 600watts rms to it.

bwuahaha, i forgot to remove that and the card board on top the window. Those are the only things I can get to stop the back window from rattling.

I was going to carpet them, but ran out of carpet. It can't be seen unless the rear doors are open so they are okay with me.

It hits hard a low. Couldn't give you a dB level, its not a box built for SPL, its built for SQL. It's built to be as loud to the ears, not to a meter. (yes there is a difference)

Nice! Oh I know that thing bumps. I have a w6v2 on 600 watts and your sub has more output than mine. Looks good.

Volume? I dont know, but its specifically built around that subs T/S parameters to my listening specifications. I could calculate the volume, but don't really care to.

Not really complicated at all. Thats just a 3/4 view of a transparent completed box, so it shows all the waveguide angles and stuff. The box was actually extremely easy to assemble. All square and straight lines and measurements, nothing funky.

Love it, Fs on it lowered a little after it broke in, which became evident on low power low notes. (did that make sense?)

Other than that it rocks me enough to be satisfied.

Ehh, its not a show system, the wires (where they are seen with the seats back) are cleanly wrapped, straight, and not tangled. Good enough for me.

So that box reminds me of the Bose Wave radio. I don't know why. So it sounds good I take it?

How do you like the box with the sub at the top and the port at the side? When I made my sub box I had built one with the sub on the top and the port on the side and it was good but once I changed it to the port and sub on the same side it sounded a bit different. Do you think it would make much of a difference on yours? And yeah, thats a big box. Im runnin 3.25cu on mine, 16x16x32

I have a feeling if I changed placement of the sub/port locations to the same side then I would recieve the same change in sound you speak of. The box was designed to have the subwoofer off axis like so. The complimenting loading of the sound waves was the point of this design. I'd figure if the sub and port were the same side there would be a loss, or mild cancelation in sound due to different aspects of the cabin.

Yes, this box and the Bose radio work off the same principal kinda. My box is a Transmission line/bass reflex hybrid.

wow. that is crazy. im planning on building a box somewhat, but nothing like this haha. actually, i mean, the woofers will be on top of the box, and the ports will be on the front of the box, or facing into the back of the front seats. how's that sound facing upward like that? do you get any, like, cone distortion or whatever?
