armor all tire shine
Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find armorall tire shine. I am looking for the stuff that you put on the little sponge and wipe it around your wheel. I have looked at wally world and they don't seem to have it. It is the one that they use on all of the t.v. shows like hot shine. Thanks :borladuck

Check autopart stores, some of them will have it. Our walmart does not have it but the super walmart 15 miles away does have it,
|
Mix 1/2 baby oil with 1/2 brake fluid and wipe on. You get a way nicer shine and it lasts longer.
|
DONT BUY IT!!! I used it the other day and it didn't last 2 days!!! Hell the shine didn't even last overnight!!
CRAP if you ask me. Although I do like the interior gel and the car wash gel, I have the wax-as-u-dry gel stuff, but I never dry my truck anyway... |
i buy mine at wally world, anywhere that has car stuff has it, even safeway does!
|
Bought mine at Kragen. Im sure you can get them at Kragen, Pep Boys. Autozone. Try all those places. Shouldn't be too hard to find...
|
i bought mine from wally world... look for a big orange box...
I like mine, except the foam pad is for a low pro tire, and im using it for a 33, so i have to make a couple passes... |
Ya I love that stuff for sure!! It doesnt fling off and water beads off of it! You gotta lay it on thick to look really good though..I get mine from Wal Mart but I know advance carrys it for sure.

Once it's mixed and on the tires it stays on the tires because you actually wipe of all the excess and the rest sticks. It soaks in a little and leaves an awesome shine. Never had it on my paint before. You can even use a spray bottle to spray it on. The fluid won't hurt anything.

Wal-mart. BJ's & Sam's Club have the armorall bucket sets

http://www.armorall.com/products/vie...ory_index=tire and this stuff http://www.permatex.com/products/aut..._Tire_Care.htm I put on one coat let it sit for 15 minutes and then apply a second coat. Works great I only use one product at a time I havnt tried using both at once. |
Yea every Advance Auto ive been to has it
|
I didn't like the armor all stuff..after a while of using it and my truck sitting in the sun most of the time the tires get a brown tinge to them thats almost impossible to get off.

hey i just got my 35" BFG's on 15" procomp wheels. well the problem is the wheels are all shiney black, and the tires a a dull grey. Anything i can do to get the tires a darker black? or is it just because they are brand new
|
Personally, I suggest using Meguires Insane tire Shine. Stuff works great. I've used the Armor All stuff too...but I liked the other better.
|
I have tried to use all sorts and I have to say the best stuff I have used is called More Shine. It comes in a black bottle with a yellow cap. The stuff works great you can get it at checker or auto zone I know for sure.

GroitsGarage.com
Has all your truck and car products. Really good stuff too. |
I brought some 303 Aerospace Protectant spray for my rollup tonneau cover (and it works great !!). The bottle says that it is good on rubber, it lasts longer that other tire care products., prevents drying, looks like new (blah, blah, blah).
Has anyone tried it on tires?? ...Terry |
