Cleaned er up a bit.. pics

Finally got a chance to give the FX4 a good wash and wax. Had other things I ought to be doing over the holiday weekend... but I needed a break and just spend a little time in the garage for a change. Felt good.. real good. And.. these pics after a day of daily commuting, pollen dusting, and towing the boat to the lake. Just still looked good so I took some pics.

Thanks guys. It'll make ya sad to know this was a left over 06. Nobody around here wanted it.. nor the yellow one right next to it. Ford gave $4250 to clearance the thing on top of my other discounts.

Anyway, 07SPORT. You got a keen eye! I bought one of those panoramic mirrors. I don't normally buy stuff like that at all. But IMO the stock mirror is not very good at all. I couldn't even see out the entire back window. I bought this dopy looking thing that clips on over the stock one. It's smooth and is basicly curved. I gotta say it took me a few days to get used to the warped look. BUT!! I can now see out the entire back window, out the pass side qtr window, and even my passangers face.

My wife and daughter hate to drive with it. But once you get used to it IMO it's much better than the stock one. I think it was about $10 at Murrays.

I donno.. wanna find out?

I've used everthing under the sun. Started detailing cars back in the 80s...

In the last few years I've been using the turtle wax high gloss stuff. Supprisingly for a cheap-er wax it holds up pretty good here in the michigan weather. The truck is outside 24/7 and it'll bead water for a good 4-5 months. Generally I wax 2-3 times a year.

Rich, if you so desire, try 3M, I do it 2 times a year and the results are amazing, best wax I have ever used. Although, your truck does look very good....

Oh, any sound clips on the exhaust yet?? LOL...

Can you post close ups of what is being referred to? I agree with the above statement but have no idea what Cody is talking about haha.
