x2! It does wonders. I pull the door panels when i do it though. And mud on the door fine carpet, i do hot water on a rag and scrub it away, and vaccum it out. Makes the panels looklike new.

x2 I was gonna say the same thing, but expected to get flamed because I have a car that I dont offroad and get the interior dirty. However I did the same with my Ranger, damp cloth. Makes the interior look new and not glossy fake like.

or that i do that when i dont feel like grabbing windex, infact if it drys it out im not longer using windex. guess im just going to use a damp hot rag

I use the Fantastic Oxy cleaner it works well also for really dirty stuff I use a product called mean green both work well. that with some damp rags and all is well. the mean green really works nice on rubber mats as well.
as far as detail stuff before I painted all my stuff I used the Black majic tire wet and a damp rag. works great and won't fade. Now I just wax it.

i work in a steel mill, and somedays i get in the truck,a nd have all that steel dust all over my arms, and clothes, and sometimes i put my arm up on the door, and leaves a nice little mess on the door panel after a while
i use straight simple green,a nd a rag, comes out good as new
