Cleaning tonneau cover

I was just wondering what you guys use to clean your tonneau cover. This weekends mud will not come off of it.

303 aerospace cleaner/protectant...first wash it really well by taking it off and scrubbing it with a stiff brush, then after drying put on the 303 aerospace cleaner...

my dads being an old man has used shoe polish on spots before also

Yeah I washed the truck today and it took me 3 hours to get it off the paint. I had to wash the truck 2 times and I still had spots that would not come off.

That wolfsteibs sounds good but I really don't like to buy car products online I like to be able to walk into a store and buy it.

The best thing I ever used on my tonneau was Honda rubber and vinyl protectant. You can get a can of it for a few bucks at any Honda dealer. It always made mine look new.

It came off my quads easy! lol.

You guys may have to buy a new wash mitten thing and gently wash your trucks by hand.

For tounue cover, there was cleaning stuff made by armorall that seem to work really good. Also there was this carpet cleaner stuff I bought in a blue spray can from autozone. ot worked well on my quad seats when they where stained.

I hate going there myself and would never consider buying one of their cars, but their cleaning products are great.

I used some type of mitt and a pressure washer, same deal would not come off. I am glad I did not put my tonneau cover on.

As for the stuff on the paint it will come off if you wax it.

I should have known better because this has happened to me before...

Dave sent me a bunch of free samples of the 303 protectant with an order i placed a while back. I just found them and put the stuff on my tonneau yesterday.

It looks like BRAND NEW, gave it the nice black color it used to have when i had first got it. That stuff should work for you guys.
