cleaning your cleaners/pads

A search turned up no results so I'm not sure if this has been asked before.

How do you all clean your microfiber clots, applicator pads, etc?

Just throw them into the washing machine with hot water?

Use a special degreaser/cleaner and wash by hand?

How do you get all the wax out of the applicator pad/cloth and microfiber you use to remove wax/polish?

I've tried washing the cloths by hand with dish soap and it works for the light duty stuff but the microfiber cloths that are embedded with wax won't seem to come clean. I've even tried smushing some citrus mechanics hand cleaner and rinsing thoroughly to no avail.

I realize it's not quite rocket science but I don't want to jeopardize the integrity of the microfiber.

I use wolfgang pad cleaner for my PC pads. And then use their MF detergent and wash my microfibers like regular clothes.
