I just got a 2011 FX4 and I want to take off the Ranger and Ford emblems off of my tail gate because i'm trying to get a stealth look to my truck and I want to know if there's holes in the tail gate like there is with the ranger emblems on the front fenders, as I have found out the hard way on that. I am going to do some painting on my truck but not on the tail gate of fenders so I don't want to patch the holes and re paint

This really sucks as I wanted to remove the ranger emblems as well to put on the older style that I've already ordered.

 

you can swap emblems...plenty of people on here have done that

 

Lessons learned, don't order parts without researching first.
