Engine wash

hey guys i bought some engine wash stuf from canadian tire the writting is so small on the can i can bareley make it out what are the usual precaution ?

Cover battery
Cover distribution box that has fuses and relays in it
Cover Alternator
If you have a CAI cover remove cone filter then cover opening.

I've never covered anything and have had 0 problems. Just don't spray that stuff directly and you'll be fine.

Yep, I never covered anything and I've never had problems (knock on wood). Just don't spray the cleaner on the electrical parts, use a low pressure power washer, and don't keep the water spraying in the same spot.

Just keep the engine cleaner and water away from the alternator and power dist box and you'll be fine. Make sure the engine is cold when you do this.
