Here's what I use...
Man that is a killer shine dude. Nice job. here's what I use and they aint cheap.
Th Zymol goes on first and sits till it's bone dry (roughly about 1.5 hours). The ice goes on and sits for about 45 minutes (20 minutes in direct sunlight) or until a light haze appears. Next I apply another coat of the Zymol and watch it dry before my very eyes in about 2 minutes. This lasts over 18 months. here are the results after 18 months:
This truck aint been washed or waxed since aug of 2006.

Are you kidding me that stuff is just as cheap as everything else at Autozone. I was just there today picking up some NXT Tech Wax and the Zymol was the same price. I've heard really bad things about that Ice too, but it looks like it worked well for you. Its not more expensive then anything else though.

I bought other stuff too. the grand total was damn near $60 bucks. The Ice is way more expensive than the NXT. I don't call $18 bucks cheap. It doesn't do too good of a job on it's own though. that zymol is better than the NXT Tech Wax. I only use the ice as an enhancer. I put on the ice and I liked the zymol better and discoverd what happens when you combine the 2. The Zymol dried before my eyes almost instantly. The last time I used NXT wax I liked to never got it off and it didn't do too good of a job. That was over 7 years ago.

That was the cheapest Zymol wax you can get. If you want their other stuff go to this website and look at the price tags: www.zymol.com . the cheapest thing on there is the wash at $15.00 just for an 8 oz. bottle. Their best kit you can get will run you nearly $300.00 bucks.

kool. I'll look into that. The Zymol is really good though, and if you smell it you'll get addicted. When I use it I get hungry just from smelling it. It smells like a freshly opened coconut. And here's the killer part, it's biodegradeable.

There you go. Did you ever try the wash they use to have out years ago? That stuff was better than what I posted earlier. It was pretty expensive though maybe that's why I can't find it except on the net in a different form. The truck you saw earlier has NOT been wash or waxed since August of 2006. That process I mentioned earlier really does last 18 months.

The zymol will come off alot easier and faster. I never did use a Clay bar. Ice has got a version of it. plus if you look on their website, Zymol is backed by Rolls Royce, Jaguar, Mercedes Benzs. Mercedes Benzs really loves it. That's all they use in their detailing and clean up dept.

Me neither. I just use what works for me. I tried the zymol and have always liked it it goes on easy and comes off easy to. It doesn't take all day to use it either. The Turtle Wax Ice had just come out and I wanted to try it. It didn't really work well for me by itself and discovered that by mistake. The RainX Ultra Wax I got on my my 97 Xlt's chrome bumpers by accident and the results were killer.
