Has anyone used this cleaner?
|
Ive never seen this product before, but after looking and reading about it on the link you posted ,it reminds me of a cleaner that ive used many times called Tuff Stuff which is also a deep foam clean and you can buy it at Walmarts, Advance Auto, Auto Zone and many other places too. Always works well for me. Niceto see and read about all the products out their . I also have been detailing cars for several years now for family and freinds and ive got to experience alot with detailing products. Very fun and rewarding making vehicles look cleaner, shinnyer and protecting the finishes and when the vehicle owner comes to pick it up the look on their face is awesome.

I've also been using Tuff Stuff for years and it's a good product and also not vary expensive. I'd say that product you posted is overpriced myself.

Another vote for TUFF STUFF foaming cleaner....works very well on carpets and cloth seats.

Over Hauling 3.0
I'm in the middle of Overhauling my 93 3.0. The engine is really cruddy with baked on oil and dirt. My Machine shop guy told me to go to the "Dolla Sto" and get the cheap Oven Cleaner for $1 a can.
Holy Smoke Batman!!! that stuff work good. cleaned my intake, oil pan and Valve covers real nice. I'm getting ready to do the Engine Bay in a few weeks. Ill let ya know how it came out. https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.ran...9d37e9502b.jpg After cleaning with Oven Cleaner. https://cimg2.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.ran...08eaf757f5.jpg |
I can second the dollar store oven cleaner. We use it to clean the engine and undercarriage on all our vehicles. If you have grease or oil on your car seats, you can also spray it on, let it sit a couple minutes, then use a stiff brush to scrub. Gets a lot of dirt out.
