Removing Rubberized Undercoat Spray?
Hey guys...I sprayed my bedrails a while back with Westley's undercoating spray and I am now ready to remove that, and switch to WADE plastic covers. I was told that Bug and Tar remover would take it off..but it didn't seem to do a damn thing. I also heard gasoline worked...but I havn't tried it yet since A.) I don't like the idea of gas on my paint, and B) that stuff is $$$ these days lol.
any ideas how I can get that stuff off without harming the paint?

Bah. I have noticed when not even trying my pressure washer (2400 PSI Honda) takes some off...so I think if I shoot it super close it will rip most of it off. It was the remaining little bits I am assuming will be the biggest pain.
As for installing it OVER that stuff...I don't think it would stick worth a crap to the rubber...it uses double sided sticky tape to attach itself. Plus, I want it super tight and sealed so water doesn't get under it and run down the rails after I wash it.
So no one knows of any chemicals to break down even little bits of it? Bah humbug lol
