how to re-apply exterior door trim
 

It's time for me to sell my 02 Ranger, so I'm sprucing it up.

The exterior trim on the drivers side door came off years ago. It is the horizontal trim on the lower part of the door that may be used to keep from getting door dings. Can anyone recommend an adhesive for reapplying it? I assume you'd put the adhesive on and then tape it in place until it dries?

This happened to me too - I used 3M Molding tape. You can find it at most auto parts retailers, or also on... Amazon. I used rubbing alcohol to remove the previous tape beforehand. Once applied, it looks exactly like the other trim, same profile.
