ok i messed up. i got a little battery acid on my corner light. i was pumping the pedal for my other car and the lid poped off the covers the break fluid flew and hit the corner light. any solutions to get that off.

 

Which is it, battery acid or brake fluid? Did you think they are the same thing, lol?

Either one can etch plastic. It's not the remaining fluid that's the issue -- the plastic has been etched.

You need to polish the plastic back to a shine -- but it will probably never look quite right -- could be it could. I can't see the damage so I don't know.

 

break fluid is what is is. ops i was not thinking i will try to post a picture of the clear corner tomorrow during the day.

 

wet sand it with 2k grit sand paper, and use a rubbing compound on it and buff it out.. that will clear up the whole headlight also
