what gives the best shine
and a smooth finish?
im entering the truck in a car show this weekend and id like to have it some what shiney and clean because i know it will get photographed just because it is different than all the other trucks around here.
also, whats out there that works well for cleaning rims? i dont want to polish them or anything, just clean them

Nope. I use 3 items and about 4 hours tops. meguiars gold class wash, ZymoL cleaner wax, turtlewax Ice. use a buffer to apply the wax and remove it by hand. 1st coat: Zymol let it get bone dry. 2nd coat: Turtlewax Ice (liquid) allow to dry to a Haze. 3rd coat: Zymol with buffer one section at a time. from where you applied the Turtlewax Ice it dries almost instantly before your very eyes. This will out shine even the New trucks and lasts for about 18 months. For wheels the same thing only done by hand( both applying and removing). After doing this you'll have a MIRROR TYPE SHINE. Black magic tire gel is good.
