And for the record no am not Jelous of that over priced crap....

QUESTION ON WAX...

ok, u put it on with a soft cloth, foam pad thing....let it sit for 15 minutes (NXT says it needs to "set")...

if you take it off with a machine buffer...something even simple like the $20 special at wal-mart...willl it enhance the shine better than just hand buffing?

btw...what is the definition of "buffing"
I have owned a white vehical for some reason white doesnt show reflexsions as much as other paint your you can get it shiny though. i put the liquid wax on a foam or cloth pad. then let it set till its good and dry then take off. some times i have left it on for about 2 hours mid you it was in my garage no sun light. no i dont use a mechine buffer un-less i am being VERY lazy i always take if off by hand with MIRCO-fiber towels. I always use micro fiber towels.

Here's my old truck after about 4-5 months of no waxing, and using Meguair's 3 step wax.

Zaino may be the best "wax", but it takes longer to apply, it costs way more than meguair's, and you will get more uses per bottle with meguair's.

more uses per bottle with megs? are you sure about that? It only takes about 4 oz or a little bottle for Zaino. I have had the same two bottles of Zaino polish for two years.. Odd how that works. I have a bottle of Swirl mark remover, the polish, ZFX Flash Cure additive, Z-6 detailers spray and as I have said, all are two years old. Sure its expensive but it shines like crazy and lasts at least 6 months.. I havent waxed nor polished my truck in over 4 months and mine still looks like this....

Even when my truck is dirty and dusty its shiny...

Anyone can make black reflect like hell but what about white?!? Lets see here.. I have a pic of a white that reflects like crazy with Zaino

A truely good polish will make any color reflect its surroundings... but thats just my $.02 I have many more pics but they've been posted elsewhere so many times.

You guys mustn't know what the hell you're doing, one 2oz bottle of Zaino Z2 w/ ZFW addative is enough to put two coats on my truck, which is all I ever do. I've never, EVER seen a liquid wax or polish that goes on so thin and is so effective. I pay $50 for Zaino every 2 years.. how often do you buy NXT? And Zach, if you're going to be a dick, tough. This is a DISCUSSION forum, not a "My stuff is best and yours isn't" forum. That said.. my stuff is the best and yours isn't. So THERE!

I pay about $25(30 tops) bucks for meguairs every 3 years or more. That's the average between the three step a few years ago, to the NXT stuff now. Still got about half a bottle of NXT, and probably put about 2-3 coats on both my truck and the little woman's accord.

The problem is Zaino owners are a bit, let's say, overzealous to share in the benefits of Zaino. You don't see the Magnaflow or borla guys posting in threads about "How much I like Flowmaster" do you?

Those are the 8 oz bottles, and I imagine there may be Shipping and Tax?

One bottle of NXT Tech Wax $15.99 or less at your local wally world.

lol..you guys are classic. Unlike Zack, who swears by NXT but has never used Zaino (Or at least not that I know of) I have used BOTH NXT AND Zaino polishes. Therefor, it can be easily said I am rather UNbiased on this topic.

The Zaino was more work to get onto the truck, but also took about 1/8th the amount of polish to do the job. It also lasted about twice as long (According to my water bead test, as well as cosmetic shine) than the NXT.

*However* I will say that I currently use NXT because it is also a great wax, and takes less time and hassle to apply. If I had more patience and time though, I would go with Zaino over NXT.

chew on that

:post a picture of my butt: Look what ZAINO can do!

Some people need to seriously get over this topic or just wait till you post a topic about how much you like somthing and wait to see what we have to say.

He likes it good for him give him a cookie!

Not to throw a wrench into things but if you guys really want to be "semi-scientific" you need to compare vehicles with similar paint age, similar driving habits AND similar climates...I know I saw some people say the road salt of winter etc. etc...

P.S. I suppose you get either NXT or Zano over the internet...cuz I've never seen either in AutoZone or any other place near me!?!

I gotta say thats very impressive, especially how well that white shines, but I really believe NXT can do just as good of a job. I have used so many products over the years and never have I seen such a product like NXT, its smell, its ease, and its shine is amazing.

The latest i've tried was NanoWax by Eagle One. It has a mixture of wax and polish. When using it on my 11-year old Taurus, let it haze then buff like hell and it'll look like the car's down 5-years old lol!

eh. im currently using nxt, and 3m buffing compound , for some reason, when i get my truck waxed in may garage, it looks like my hood isnt "clear" so i stripped the old wax off with that $22 a bottle 3m stuff, and then did that a couple times till i was like 1/2 dead and said, eh ill live with it and wax it... but... i gotta say, the nxt is some nice stuff, tho not very durable, does give off a killer shine for atleast 3 months, after that it starts to fade and not look as shiny anymore.... now for all u climate folks. i live in buffalo ny, and on a good day, with little traffic and can go down to that cess pool (lake erie) in about 15 minutes.
