Quick Q/A on prices of washes

Well i work at a car wash (Delta Sonic) and i was wondering different prices for washes around the U.S.. It is to my belief that our prices are outrages, for example, our top wash which is called a Super Kiss Plus is 18.35 after tax and that gives you two weeks to return twice for free car washes. As for our int department they charge 7.56 for a vac and they wipe of your dash and doorjams do your windows and put a scent in the car that you cant even smell. They also do waxes for 34.99 which is the blue coral wax but they give a line a *rap that a ranger is considered a big truck and they then charge a 5 dollar truck charge. One more thing they offer a carpet shampoo for 24.99 but they wont go down in price for my truck all i have in two little spots to shampoo. So if you guys want let me know whats the different prices around.

well around here theres a scratch and wash for 3.00 and free self serve vacs, (they also have more expensive washes and detail center not sure of prices,

Me I charge no less then $100 when i do mobile detailing (that does not include shampoo) I will do light stain removal and stuff included, also if they want me to pull out the buffer that adds on too.

You need to get your self some dri wash, and clean your own

I used to work for a car wash here in Cleveland, oh and our "cheap" exterior cloth only w/o special was like $9. When adding interior, wheel brightener, and other specials it could easily top $14 +. I found a place that I love that only does exterior, but they use a high pressure hose w/soap (a lot of washes just do a pre-rinse in water only) and is completely touchless + they spray underneath (again extra at most places) + and the wheels for $8. I tip the dryer $1.

In Indianapolis, there is a place my wife goes to take her Five Hundred called Kopetsky's. I think she pays about $20-$30 depending on the season. They vacuum it out before a mob of four climb in and start doing the inside as it's heading to a sprayer for pre-wash. goes through the wash and out the otherside, they climb out, treat the leather and vinyl, vacuum it again and dry it spotless. Wheels are taken care of, both rims and tires, as it goes through the wash. It's a hell of a job for no more than 30 bucks, the car always looks great, and it takes less than 20 minutes!
