Rocker Panel and Door Jams

I was wondering what you guys think about doing a roll/spray on bedliner for all my rocker panels and door jams on my 99 Ranger. I was thinking about taking it up to the seam. I am conerned about chipping along the endge where it will end and then just be the natural finish paint. Also, I know some of you guys have done this what type of prep do you do?

Another concern is taking off my wheel flares to paint behind them. Are they just held on with those automotive snaps or is there some sort of adhesive holding those puppies on?

(just got my rugged ridge manual hubs put on last night. I LOVE HAVING 4 WHEEL DRIVE!!!)

No adhesive. bolt type things. they're a real PITA to get off, and IMO wouldn't be worth it.
as for the rockers and door jambs. i wouldn't be too concerned with the jambs. mostly the rockers. but you will just need to sand or use some scotch pad to get the clear coat off so the liner will stick.
