oil spray on paint

hey guys I got my truck undercoated (rust proofed) a few days ago and noticed they got a bunch of overspray onto the paint so I thought "no big deal I'll just get it washed" ... so today I took it to a pretty reputable detail shop (Fine Details) since its toooo cold out to wash it myself and when they got done with the truck it looked pretty damn good untill I got home andtook a closer look noticed that there was still quite a bit of overspray left on the paint. To make a long story short the guy at the shop says its near impossible to just wash it off. My question is.... will claybar remove the oily film off the paint or am I just wasting my time and money (Fine Details wants 100$ for a clay/wax job and they use only meguiars products) ... I know alot of you guys swear by the clay bar .... any advice ?

I imagine a claybar would take it off. Is is the undercoat paint or rubber?

I think I'd be talking to the guy who sprayed it all over the truck about having it removed!
