transmission insulation un glued

The insulation underneath my 2004 ranger has come un glued. (that's the insulation that goes between the body and transmission). Any ideas on how to glue it back up or is it needed at all? Has anyone just removed it and if so has it caused any problems?

I responded but for some reason it isn't here !
Did you post more than one thread on this subject ?

I removed mine off on the 2003 Ranger EDGE 4x, Standard 2-Dr Cab.
I also added sound proofing (Fat Mat) to the interior of the cab.

I also replaced the rug, along with the padding attached to the rug.

Not directly related but while you are at it... IF you are at it !
The lower half of the Cab (rear window down) has been lined with the Fat Mat and it helps. I also made an effort to get the corners behind the seats, that help a lot to reduce road noise and behind the Kick Panels.
I still need to do the roof and... oh ya, the doors, both on the sheet metal of the door and between the Door Panel and inner sheet metal.

Just saying consider at least the floors.

Thanks for your reply. I got the insulation all but back up nice and snug. I will also be doing what you suggested. Thanks again
