As for the engine, all I did was cover up the distribution box, alternator and coil pack with aluminum foil and then spray the motor down with Simple Green. Took a soft bristle wheel brush and scrubbed everything. Then rinsed.a.d then sprayed with simple green again and repeated. Took a towel and dried everythng off. Then took Meguiar's Natural Shine and wiped all the plastic down.

Steel, I'm at 84k miles
Man you have more miles then my 04 lol

You call that clean???? Pshhhhh, whatever man. Haha jk. Love it. Very clean rig.

I haven't gotten around to either of mine in roughly a month. ****, the Bronco hasn't been waxed in a few years. I woke up today knowing i'm going to at least wash both, and maybe wax the Ranger.

How do you like that stuff for the tire shine? i've never tried it but wanted to. I usually use Black Magic, but that doesn't get inbetween the outer sidewall treads really well.
i dont have any tire shine on there lol

Shouldn't be depressed about it, when my truck is 4-5 years old i wish i could say it only has that many miles. I got a 2011 ranger sport back on 12-10-10 with 7 miles on it and its pushin 23-24,000 now, i hate living so far from work.

Looks good though, if I was local to you I'd let you clean mine haha
I can't keep my truck clean ever. If it's winter we have road salt. If it's spring the snow melts onto the roads and splashes onto my truck. If its summer..well im still trying to figure out what summer is. Usually rain.

Bring your truck to Alaska and we can get it dirty and beat up. None of the nice clean roads you get to enjoy :( Also I detail my engine also but i dont cover anything. As long as you let the truck dry for a half hour everything will start just fine.

yeah right haha when i get the pics of my camera they are 3-4 MB

fyi 56k refers to the speed of a dial up connection. 56 kbps.

broadband internet is considered 256k and up but generally the minimum you see now is like 750k, with most being 1-4 meg.

anyway... scott your truck is still cleaner than mine..

.
Oh oh oh, I thought it was referring to the picture size. I just looked at one of my Cancun pictures from my 14MP camera and it was 3 meg. Those pics are HUGE.
