2 questions. What does everyone use to wash their car with (im talking about sponge, glove, etc.) and the second is, is washing your car with well water safe, and if not, what does it cause?

I either use a pressure washer at the local Auto Bath or a garden hose and a clean soft cotton wash mit.

Well water won't damage the paint (as least I have never heard of it doing so), but if the ground water in your area is hard, expect plenty of water spots. That is the purpose of the filter in the Mr. Clean AutoDry car wash kit...it softens the water.

i wash it with a sponge and a very soft brush. with Meguires NXT wash and then clay bar it with Meguires Quike Clay, then wax it with Meguires NXT wax. not sure about the well water, but you could get a filter for it.

for the paint, wheels, windows i use (clean seal polish and protect in one step)
DWG Ultra-ion
1 Cotton Terry towel
1 microfiber towel for buffing

For tires, truxedo, and plastic trim i use
DWG Tire and Trim Treatment
2 Cotton Terry Towels

i use my pressure washer, brush for the tires, a smaller brush for the wheels, and then either a really soft bristol brush, or a sponge to wash the truck...

i know nothing about water, so i cant help with the well water thing!!!

I use a soft sponge ,water hose @ the house ,a tire brush for the tires ,and rain-x carwash .....
O and one of those absorbers ...dries with no streaks
Thats the best soap i have ever used!! has wax in it!!!
