polish for toolbox?

polish for toolbox?

just wondering if there is any polish for my aluminum toolbox...if i use stainless steel cleaner the rag gets real dirty but doesnt really get the dirt off the box, wax doesnt seem to work either

the black on the rag is the oxidation being removed, you may just need to keep doing it or try another metal polish

like they said aluminum polish and a mothers power ball will work wonders

Flitz, the best metal polish IMO.

The powerball or a cheap orbital buffer will help you out. I polished mine for an hour with some polish I picked up from a truck stop. When the suns in the right spot, you'll be blinded by the box.

ya polished by black UWS low profile tool box with a mothers ball and seriously almost took the shine out of it lol it was a hot day and its never good to try to buff or wax in the sun or on any object that is very hot..... but i fixed er all up ha shinin like crazy.. have to cover it in sunscreen so i could see again "a.k.a. mud"

You can use metal polish on the black boxes. They are painted or powdercoated, neither of which need metal polish.
