1990 Ranger/Mazda motor questions

I have a 2.3 (?) 4 cyl motor from a 1990 Ford Ranger 4x4 5 spd truck. I recently found a 1990 Mazda b2200. If it is also a 4 cyl 5spd truck, would this be a direct fit? How many issues would I run into concerning the wiring harness connections, sensors, etc? Thanks for any help!

No, they are different engines.
Rangers used the 2.3l Lima engine in the '80's and '90's
Mazda B2300 did as well.

B2200 is using the 2.2L Mazda F2 engine, not related to the Lima so transmission bolt holes won't line up.
Motor mounts may also be different

If you swap over engine and trans then it should work OK, the .1 liter difference shouldn't be an issue for computer but........not sure about Dual spark plug system, it will run OK just using exhaust side coil but you will probably get CEL(check engine light) since intake side coil isn't connect, no spark feedback.
