02 Ranger issues 4 cylinder

Here are the symptoms:

-ABS light came on, won't go off
-keeps overheating (all the way) even when full of antifreeze
-Front of truck started shuddering
-Won't go over 10mph (starts sputtering)

Once heat went down car would go faster, used a whole jug of antiifreeze in 20 miles

Check engine light is now on

Has 195k miles

ABS light on----check brake light fuse

Over heating has many causes.
But first is it actually overheating, is the overflow tank full?
Is there white smoke coming out the exhaust pipe?

Does the front end shake only when brakes are used?
Does front end stop shaking when brakes are used?

Overheated engine won't run very well, air in intake is too hot.

Get a code reader or rent one and get the codes from computer, that's what the Check engine light(CEL) means, there are codes in computer memory that can point you to whats wrong.
