hehe. no the 2.3's have the throttlebody mounted up in the back center next to the firewall. our k&n setup has an S bend in it to send it out toward the the over flows. than down toward the front than bac toward the p-side fender.

Just checked out there website.....sorry bro they dont carry those. or any for the 05.

heres a pick of mine.Link

i have an idea tho. if you go to a place like auto zone, kraigen, or pepboys they sell aluminum tubing in sections. with anywhere between 6 inch lengths to 2 foot lenths and they sell them in straight , 40 degree and 90 degree bends. so you could MAKE your own?

How many cams do you have? The lima motor is SOHC, while the duratech is DOHC. Thanks a bunch guys, I have been looking all over for the K&N Intake for the duratech.
Specter makes a Modular cold air intake system that pieces together. Not quite as trick, but it does the job.

I've been looking for a cat back system and a cold air intake since I got my 04Ranger, but everything I find is for a 2.5L and not a 2.3L are the parts the same?

no. not really. i found a K&N for my truck. but after my year is hard to find. and if you want an exhaust look into Gibson or basicly CALL a muffler shop that knows what there talking about. and ask them if the emissions change enough to fail your smog if you use a magna flow cat. but as for exhaust people either suggest cherry bomb (Glass Packs) fiberglass filled. i personally have a flowmaster 40 series welded on from the cat to infront of the rear tire with 2 1/2 inch pipe. sounds good and works good. just make sure they put on quality hangars because i broke mine tiwce because it wanst mounted right and the shock from offroading broke the hangar.

does your motor look like that? lol it has to be the same angles and direction. length. and the carb has to be the same diameter. as well as the mass air flow sensor. isnt that pic for a 4.0?

i have a 94 ranger 2.3 and i just put bigger rims and tires on it. the tires took some power from my truck so does anybody have a idea on an inexpensive way of getting more power back.

turbo swap it lol
right now mine is down for that build but as for intakes i got mine from http://www.ifab.net/products/93intake/99ri4/index.html
for exhaust im runnin straight 3'' pipe ha na i just cut off the resinatore replaced it with a cherrybomb and a 90 bend so it exits befor the rear tire.
but the only diff between the 2.5l's and the 2.3's is the 2.5l has a differnt crank and rods but if you swap the 2.3 cranks rods and pistons you could turbo it pretty easy

I put a k&n on mine and a performance chip and I'm getting most days around 31 to the gallon. The power increased a lot too. I would guess probably 85 hp.
