2.3L bogging down after start
2.3L bogging down after start
Started the engine last night and it bogged down and shut off,
then continued to try to start it over and over and it wouldn't start, then tryed one last time and it started, and drove it home.
Today i drove it up the street and i had the same problem with it again bogging down and cranking but not starting.
2003 Ranger 2.3L 161,000 Miles.
Any input or suggestions would be much appriciated!
Thanks

Time for a tune up.
I suggest cleaning the Idle Air Control and Mass Airflow Sensor
Replace Spark Plugs, Plug wires. Fuel and Air Filter.
If your up to it. Change Differential fluid and transmission fluid change. Thats not going to affect your driving now, but you may see a better result by doing so in the long run.
