K&N doesn't make an intake for the '04+ engines.
Most of the mods that work on a Mazda3 and a Focus are FWD platform specific, so no, we just get screwed.
But yeah, a DOHC Duratech stock runs almost as strong as a stock TURBO 2.3 Lima. Heck it'll even beat some 4.0s!
But really, do the airbox mod, drop in filter, cat back 2.5" pipe with high flow mufler, and Xcal3. if you get the Xcal from BamaChips, adjust the global timing +2 degrees, and the rpm adjustable timing +4 0-2000, +4 2000-4000, +2 4000-6000, and the WOT fuel +2%. This will make a huge difference.
