The Chilton's manual says its between the fender well and the splash guard on driver's side - the Ford dealership (after looking through several manuals) says the same thing. So I removed the splash guard and looked for about an hour. Folks, either I'm blind or it ain't there. I talked to another mechanic friend who said to follow the hose off the back of the intake (upper part) and I might find it there. He also said from the diagram he was looking at that I might have to remove the intake to get to it!!! Give me a break!

I'll look some more tomorrow, but as of yet, the new one I purchased is patiently waiting to be installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know I've posted a lot to be a newbie but I've needed the help, and that's what a forum's for - right?

From what my catalog shows,its mounted on the drivers side of engine,about midway down below intake,straight behind stat housing.....

can you post a pic of what the replacement pcv valve looks like? I haven't found it on mine yet.
