intake manifold removal?

Ok how hard is it to remove the intake on a 2002 2.3. I need to free up the stuck intake manifold runner butterfly thingy...

If you want to do this because of the P2004 code, I suggest you check your vacuum hose coming off of the actuator.

Thanks! That fixed my issue! This video was also helpful showing the location of the actuator and where the hoses connect.

Hope this might help someone else.

If you do need to take off your intake manifold for some reason, here is the link to the photo-extravaganza I'm doing trying to fix the IMRC plug loss that is causing my vacuum problem.

THANK YOU! And I made a video.

HUGE thanks to Tanker! I stumbled upon this thread while trying to take apart my Ranger to replace the injector O rings, thinking they were giving me a vac leak. It turned out to be the same issue that you had, with the plug. I took this MFer apart three times before finding the problem! I ended up using your method with the brass plug and it solved the problem. Of course I have new O rings and manifold gasket now too since I apparently don't pay attention to fine details. Anyway, I couldn't find anything about this issue on YouTube so even though I've never made a video before of any of mechanical fixes, I did make one of this just so that it's out there for the next person to hopefully stumble on. It's bumbling and rambling but it shows all the steps, so if anyone else is going through this issue and like a video visual, here you go:
Part 2 is putting it all back together
