on again off again

on again off again

'03 2.3 , why does the ac compressor kick on and off when ive got the heat up full balst? about every minute the compressor kicks on for about ten seconds then kicks off, does this constantly. I disconnected it then the thing wouldnt drop the rpms between shifts.why does it kick on and off?

unplug it and see if it helps but it does this to keep it lubed up so it doesn't freeze up

The compressor runs on all positions of the selector switch except off and face vent even if you have the heat all the way up in other positions. Its normal.
