P0442 P0171 Need to Pass Emissions
 

2003 2.3l 5 speed M/T

Hello fellow ranger enthusiasts, I’ve been having trouble tracking down this lean code, so far I did the old carb cleaner trick to check for vacuum leaks in the engine bay, also replaced the upstream 02 sensor as before this code came up we did the 2 step seafoam and I’ve heard that can make your o2’s go bad, haven’t checked the mass airflow sensor but it was just replaced within the last year (been restoring it after buying it at auction) the evap code just came on this morning after driving to work (it also has the p1000 code so I’ve been driving it around trying to clear it but it can’t clear with it still running lean and throwing codes) oddly enough it’s not actually giving me a CEL but they come up when I scan, she drives amazing though the idle is a little high I would think at about 1100rpms, any pointers would be very appreciated as this is my final few steps to restoring this ranger and getting her back on the road!
