Ranger 2.3 Duratec catback diameter

Hello, I am new in the forum, I have a 2004 Ranger 2.3 duratec, I will install an MSDS header and I want to install a catback with mandrel bend tubing, but I would like to know what is the best pipe diameter that gives more power, the options would be 2.25" or 2.5".
