08 ranger 2wd transmission crossmember
 

are the transmission crossmembers completely different for a 4x4 compared to a 2wd? if so, can i use a crossmember that is used with the Stage II TTB skyjacker lift kit and just bolt it up to the existing crossmember mounts on my 2wd frame to mount my transfer case and carry on with my driveline swap? or is there still a little fab needed to make a custom crossmember work for my 2wd swap?

are you converting to a 4wd? not sure I understand your question but IIRC, the cross-members are different between the TTB trucks and SLA trucks... actually, the front half of the frame are a bit different between the TTB and SLA trucks (boxed up front, different body mounts, etc)... I would just make my own mount, if I were you...

all torsion bar trucks have the same crossmember whether 2wd or 4wd, hop this helps, still not sure of the question

sorry, ya its a torsion bar frame but i just couldnt figure out if the crossmembers were the same from truck to truck. im doing a 1354m 4x4 conversion with sas. thanks, ive got the answer i needed!
