06 Breather valve on rear diff?

So I just recently went offroading with some friends of mine and afterwards i looked under my truck to make sure that my breather tubes stayed dry but i couldn't find the tube on the diff. My friend just figured that my rear diff. was sealed of to the elements but i want to make sure.

Is there a breather valve/tube on the rear diff. and if so where is it located?

Yes there is a breather. On my 03 it is on top of the driver's side axle tube. It just goes to a clip on the frame.

If yours is missing you can make a new one real easy. Mine was always coming undone because it wasn't long enough due to my lift so I made a new longer one yesterday.

i'm sure you already did, but if you think that you dunked your breather, pull the filler plug and see if the oil is over-full and hence contaminated with water. or just change it anyways!
