The shifter is very tight, it takes a lot of effort to go from Park to Drive. It almost seems like something is Sticking ?? anyone else have this problem.. My dad and brother both have rangers and there shifter is very smooth.. do you know what I can replace ???

 

look underneath and make sure nothing is binding the linkage.

 

See mine is in the middle on that one. It's not the easiest, but it's not the most difficult to change. I've never taken the time to try and figure it out.

 

Hi, thanks - i will look underneath... it really seems a little too difficult to shift between gears/ park/reverse... more than it should be
