2003 2.3 Duratech clutch slave advice.
 

Have 160k on the truck...Have decided on buying a Luk clutch kit and Luk flywheel as they are supposed to be the OEM manufacturer.

Read many threads on how the Luk clutch slave will usually go before the clutch wears out.

Just wondering if you guys recommend a different brand clutch slave versus the Luk OEM slave.

Sachs and Dorman make slaves...The Dorman with a rubber boot covering the spring.

Really would like to put a better slave than the Luk and would appreciate any suggestions. I mean 160k is not bad service but I have no idea if the clutch and slave have been replaced.
