2004 Ranger 4x4 issue

I have seen a few topics that have been somewhat helpful with my issue but nothing that has 100% fixed my problem. One day I realized that my 4x4 was not engaging. As well as the 4x4 light on my dash was not working. I replaced a fuse and the light started working but still no 4x4 engaging. Last week I replaced the transfer case shift motor. As of right now it is still not working. When I turn the switch the light on the dash lights up and I can hear a clicking behind the switch. I am not sure what else to try. I was thinking maybe replacing the control module? Any advice would be a great help. Also I should note that I have been neglecting the truck the past few years and I have had to jump it a few times. I read somewhere that that might cause some electrical issues.

Welcome to the forum

Below is the 4WD wiring diagram
You will see the fuses to check

The Ranger 4WD control modules did fail, but could be a fuse

Usually if 4WD lights flash on and off it means shift motor issue
So no flashing means module issue
