If it came off a Jimmy chances are it's passenger side drop d44. I could be wrong though. Someone help him out too?

Depends on what it came off of. If it's a waggy d44 it's slightly larger than your track width now. If it's a 3/4ton d44 from a chevy, it's full size and will be a lot wider.

Find out if it's passenger or drivers side drop and what it came off of man. That'll help answer a lot more questions on here!

the picture clearly show that its a driver side and the width from wheel mount surface to wheel mounter surface is 67 3/4 inches so wide is a ranger i don't have my truck here so i cant measure it

that thing is gonna stick out quit a bit. i wanna say that the ranger wheel to wheel is like 59". But for $50, you cant really go wrong. Gives you lots of room to play and build. Id say get it while you have the deal.

You could always have it narrowed if you wanted to for that price.

Just cuz it shows it in the picture doesn't mean anything. It could be upside down.

If that's what I think I see, it's a pitman arm on the left side and the TRE's point down and in the picture, they point up.

It's a GM D44. Sorry.

What is your reason for SAS? That can help you start with what axle to find.

You'll be good with the Waggy D44 then. If you're not gonna crawl it or mud it hard, that axle can hold up to 37's with mild throttle. I'll be using a 3/4ton d44 with 3/4 d60 or possibly a 9in to run 37's/38's and mashin on it in the snow lol...

The axle pictured is a pass side. You can tell by the steering linkage on the left.

60ish give or take an inch is the WMS to WMS on a ranger. As stated the first axle wont work. The second axle appears to be a low pinion driver side drop but the more I look at the pictures they dont match up. It looks like the one picture of the complete axle is swapped around. Which is why there appears to be a panhard mount on the driverside.

Heres the pictures to show what I mean.

This is the one how they posted it on craigslist.

Now notice in this one that I flipped the axle is a passenger side drop with the two hole highsteer arm and panhard mount are now on the correct side.
