44 issue

Put my 08 ranger in 44 today and when you turn a corner seems like the brakes are being applied slows the truck right down and a howling noise,does this in 4 high and low almost seems like something is binding, just had the front hubs changed not long ago could the have been torqued too tight?check fluid levels and they seem okay any ideas,thanks for input,it almost seems like it is binding in the drivetrain

If you were on a paved surface this Will happen not good to use 4 wheel when the tires can't slip,was it paved or dirt
