OK long story short, the plug that hooks the tranny sensors to the main harness got crushed during a clutch swap. The plug had 6 wires on each side, and if looked at from the wire side of the plug, there was a rubber fitting with 8 holes, 2 rows of 4, with one row full and one row having 2 wires in it. The engine side had a RED[main wire]/LT BLUE[stripe] folded over connecting 2 wires on the tranny side together. I don't have my diagram with me. But I managed to get everything hooked up to the proper colors with the help of a plug and wires from a junkyard car. Now I have just one issue.
My yard plug assembly has the SAME color wires on each side of the plug, except where the doubled over RED/LT BLUE wire connects. Anyway, I get everything soldered together just like the donor plug shows. BUT I am left with 2 wires that don't match! My donor plug [from a mazda actually I think] has a GREY wire with a BLACK stripe on the 'engine' side, and a plain grey wire on the 'tranny' side. I traced the grey wire, and it appears to go to the rearmost 2 wire sensor on the tranny, the VSS or speed sensor I think.
I went ahead and soldered it to the GREY/BLACK wire, and process of elimination, as well as the lack of another GREY or GREY/BLK wire anywhere in the vicinity that was clipped or anything..

I'm confused, please help!
