I'm looking to do a fluid and filter change on my 1999 3.0L V6 Ranger and have been watching several videos on the process. One video by the well known Youtuber ChrisFix suggested that you should also tighten the bolts on the valve body above the filter as they shake loose over time. I do have the torque specs but am concerned about over tightening the bolts due to the lubricating properties of the tranny oil. Have any of yall ever tightened your valve body when changing your filter? Thanks in advance.
