35s ???

Dose anybody know if the stock axles will handle 35/12.5? I want to put bigger tires on my truck and im running 33/10.5 on it now and they are going to need to be replaced soon. Dont want to waste my money. With it sitting in my driveway i have more than anof room to fit them. But dose anybody run a tire that big on stock axles or am i nuts to want a tire that big on stock running gear. I dont really go off road that much but where i do go dosent flex it up that much so im not worried about body connact.

axle's will handle it better than your 3.0 until you gear them...

Just a body lift?
They will bolt on but they won't "fit" unless you like rubbing. They will likely rub when you turn, and especially hitting uneven driveways, offroading, etc. They will look stuffed and stupid in my opinion. 33x12.50s will look much better, be a better fit, and you will not lose nearly as much power.

People break CVs all the time with 33s, so 35s are asking for trouble if you wheel the truck. Your 3.slow will be a dog with 35s and stock gearing, it will be miserable and very hard on the transmission. If you have a 7.5 rear axle (some 3.0L 4x4s do) I wouldn't even consider 35s.

^^x2 to what this fiddy driver has said!

BTW....I'm also agreeing because I ran 35's on just a BL at one point. Not fun....not fun even on just the street and sway bars. I'd absolutely HATE to find out how it was without sway bars...

Shane without sway bars was pimpn. I've been in Andy's and it didnt rub anymore without sway bars. Actually now that I think about it his didnt really ever rub.
