PVH disassembly
Anyone know how to take this completly apart?
I know how to get to the pulse hub, but I want to pull the gears out and clean them. They engage and lock the axle just fine but it's not unlocking very well. The gear that slides back and forth seems to be gummed up. I sprayed it pretty well with WD-40 and that helped, but the clearances are pretty tight so I think it would be better to pull the gear out and get it in some parts cleaner.

I just want to take the guts out of the black hub. The gear that slides to disengage/engage was kinda bound up.
I was changing the bearing assembly when I noticed it. It was 10pm and I was gettign tired and needed the truck today so I just slapped it back together and figured I have a bit of time before I'll need the 4x4 so I can clean it up later.

However you clean it dont use grease on it. The hubs ended up sticking. They hate that.
I had to use brake cleaner to get a bit of grease off the gears that squeezed out of the wheel bearings. The hubs ended up sticking.
