94 A4LD into a 93
I have everything bolted up. Discovered that removing the fender wells allows much better access than trying to bend my arm into impossible shapes!
A couple of things that I am concerned about.
'94 shift connector slides into a bracket and is pressed onto a stud on the shifter. I want to make sure it's a stud with a balled end before I start forcing things. If not the correct connector on the tranny can I go pull one off of a 93?
Shift connector bracket. They don't seem to be compatible between the two years. Or am I just not doing this right?
Speedo cable. Mine was "slick" this one was geared. Can I swap connections on the tranny or just swap the cable?
Sensor. The guy I bought the tranny from gave me the cable for the 94. Don't know if it will plug and play or not but if it doesn't can I just swap the cables?
Everything else bolted right up.
